The first in a series of star sapphire rings. Not a synthetic Linde star sapphire... this is a natural Burmese grey star sapphire (approx 5mm) in "lost wax" silver casting. Designed and crafted by Larry Joseph in his Big Island studio.

Sharp star with natural inclusions. Grey star sapphires are becoming very rare and worth collecting. Because of the usual high price, star sapphires are traditionally known as "elitist" and, on a ring, is for the chosen few who know and want and can afford it. I have probably way underpriced this ring but, while travelling near the Burmese border, I got a very good price on several of these. My savings are your savings.
