The room is newly decorated and has table a chairs. Color cable TV and a ceiling fan makes this room a delight to stay in. We have no need for air-conditioning in this up-country tropical climate. Warm days and cool evenings make it an ideal vacation retreat while exploring the wonders of Mother Nature at Volcanoes National Park, just 20 minutes away. |

We
invite you to come, stay and enjoy Hale Nui (Great House) Bed & Breakfast
on the big island of Hawaii in the sleepy village of Mountain View. We are centrally
located between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, on the edge of the Ola'a Rainforest
Preserve. Only twenty minutes from Hilo Airport. A quality and affordable B&B.
Named for our last
ruling monarch, this large room includes a brass, queen size bed and is delicately
decorated in colorful flowers. Original photos of our state bird , the Nene Goose,
adorn the walls. A full size futon may be included if needed for extra sleeping
space. Color cable TV and a ceiling fan make the Queen Lilioukalani Room a comfortable
place to retire to after a long day.
We
honored this room with this name for the most lovely Princess Kaiulani. She was
next in line to the throne, after Queen Liliuokalani. She died at the young age
of 24, after a lengthy illness she probably acquired in Europe. The princess was
educated in England and came home to Hawaii after her schooling. This room is
decorated in cherry wood with a full size bed and a satin bench. Color cable TV
and a ceiling fan make this comfortable room very restful. Original art work by
noted artist Jane Chao gracefully accents this cozy setting. This room has a shared
bath.
